The Halfway Half-Post

Thesis Year - Blog Post 7

Short one this week. 3 support point drafts down, 1 to go, (you can see them here, here, and here!) All in all, the research side of things goes well.

On the project side of things. I have lost contact with one of my artists, that’s a blow, though I have methods of evening that out. One of my tasks this week is more free asset searching, but this time… free assets to speed up the creation for the museum installations that my remaining artists are working on.

Aside from that, all goes well. Will have more images to show off next post as the museum environment is to be completed this week, as well as a recording walking through the VR test scene in Unity, and another Digital Art Piece will be ready too (I believe another installation is set to be finished this week as well, and my audio guy will be presenting his first tracks this Tuesday too!).

Halfway through the semester now (3 full sprints, starting this week 6 regular actual weeks before Thanksgiving and basically the end of the semester), I now realize my Milestone for Museum installations likely won’t be met (certainly not 7 ready installations… maybe 5 though), but everything else… we’re actually just about on track. I am lucky to have talented people working with me to bring this idea to life.
