Thesis Year - Blog Post 22

As we move into week 10, I feel I am in a good place with my Thesis paper and Thesis Talk/Defense. I am beginning to receive feedback on my paper I am using to improve the grammatical structure of the piece and my talk/defense script has been well-received thus far. This will prove an especially cramped week as I attempt to see through my goal of freeing up more time for myself to just focus on thesis work (paper, talk, and project). This will be done by finishing my elective course work (of which I only have the final project for said elective left) this week. As soon as this is complete the only work left for the semester will include paper revisions, preparing the rest of the thesis talk (and accompanying slides), and overseeing work on the remainder of the project that will be completed for this semester.
Speaking of the project, we are coming up to the end of Milestone 2/ the end of Sprint 5 this Wednesday. The time we will need to have a build made. I am having a small meeting with my programmers today (Sunday 3/27 1PM) to discuss expectations, the importance of not stressing out, the work done so far, and the remaining priority tasks prior to a build being made. This Wednesday we are showing what we have in class to Ulm, and next week a trailer will be due for our projects. We’re getting to the end now. My team has been made aware of the planned, continued development of “Memorial Tomb” in the Summer and how to make their interest in participating known. Regarding remaining semester work, some early summer work will start in April, as well as creating an UG final presentation for the end of the semester. Team will be encouraged to participate in PAX and Clarkfest to get out and show off some of their good work.
